Who writes and reviews BathGuide content

Every city, county, and service guide on BathGuide is written and reviewed by Jason Verdelli, founder of BathGuide. Jason has spent 20+ years studying how homeowners actually research and decide on home remodeling projects, including time inside a leading national home remodeling brand. That shapes what every guide covers, and how plainly it's written.

Nothing on this site publishes without a named human review pass. We don't run generic AI-written pages behind a fake byline.

How we source pricing and timelines

Every price range, timeline, and process claim on BathGuide is grounded in current U.S. bathroom remodeling market data. We compare our own aggregated homeowner conversations against public sources (industry reports, contractor survey data, permitting datasets) and against pricing quoted by leading national remodeling brands.

  • Cost ranges are updated at least once a year, and any time material or labor markets shift meaningfully.
  • We publish ranges (low to high), not single numbers, because every bathroom, home, and market is different.
  • Where a claim comes from a specific study or dataset, we cite it inline on the page it appears on.

How we choose what to write about

Topics come from three signals: questions homeowners actually ask us during the guided conversation, real search demand from Google and other search engines, and topics where existing content on the web is thin, dated, or written purely to capture a lead.

We don't accept payment to include, exclude, or rank any topic, brand, or product.

Independence and how BathGuide makes money

BathGuide is free for homeowners. If a homeowner chooses to be matched with a local remodeling provider at the end of the guided conversation, we may earn a referral fee from that provider. Homeowners never pay BathGuide.

Editorial content, every guide, cost article, and location page, is produced independently of any provider relationship. Providers don't review or approve BathGuide content before it publishes.

Corrections policy

If you spot something incorrect, outdated, or unclear on any BathGuide page, let us know through our contact form. We investigate every report. When we make a substantive correction, we update the page and note the reviewed date at the top of the article.

AI and human review

We use AI tooling to help with research, drafting, and internal consistency across our 1,000+ location guides. Nothing publishes without a named human editor reviewing every claim, fact, and recommendation. Our position: AI can help us scale coverage, but it can't replace the judgment that comes from actually spending years in this industry.
